Recipe: Baked Potato Skin / Kulit Kentang Bakar

Hello!!!!

So hari ni I nak share one of my fav kudap kudapan.

Potato skin namanya, dalam bahasa melayu kulit kentang. Hah? "Xdo bondo asing ko kau nak makan kak" kalau cakap dgn nenek confirm die jawab cenggini.

So simple and so cepat to prepare sebab nya bende ni kene bakar dlm oven, meanwhile nak tunggu masak boleh la korang nak ketip kuku ke, sidai kain ke, main2 ngan anak ke. 

Trust me you will love it like i do. Very crispy and tasty.

You need:

4 Large russet potatoes, steamed until tender.
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
6 slices of beef bacon, cooked until crispy and crumbled
1/2 cup of chives
1 tbs of olive oil
salt to taste
1 cup of sour cream

Steam unpeeled and clean potatoes until tender. I don't have specific time. Sorry. 


Once the cooked potatoes are cooled enough to handle, cut them into quater or half lengthwise and scoop out the flesh leaving about ¼ inch border around the edges and in the bottom. Lay them skin side down on the lined and oiled baking sheet.

Roast them for about 25 to 30 minutes with 160 celcius degrees or until golden brown and crispy.
Fry the bacon in the oil until crispy. Remove them to a paper towel and then crumble.




  1. Evenly fill each skin with cheese and crumbled bacon. Place in the oven and broil until the cheese is melted and bubbling, about 4 to 5 minutes.
Transfer the potato skins to a serving plate and serve with sour cream.
